“It Happens” The Marin Recovery Project, in partnership with the Marin County Department of Health and Human Services, Mental Health and Substance Use Services is hosting its third Annual Recovery Month Celebration in accordance with National Recovery Month. This third annual event is being held on September 14, 2013, from 11:00am – 3:00pm, at the Marin County Fairgrounds. This will be an alcohol-free, family-friendly event that is no cost to attend and open to the public. More Information Mission Statement: The purpose of Marin Recovery Project is to create a community environment where any/all seeking recovery from alcohol and/or other drugs have unconditional support and access services that are fostered by our members. Marin Recovery Project works with alcohol and drug treatment providers and case managers in Marin while clients are still in treatment to assist with employment opportunities, resume building and interview skills, providing linkages to sober living options, appointment’s for health services, childcare, etc. Helping to create a smooth transition from treatment to the community. Marin Recovery Project provides linkages and access to recovery support services throughout the continuum of the recovery process.
